Regional Manager
 
  • Accountable for achieving targeted sales and wage plans and meeting cost control targets for all stores within the region
  • Control costs by ensuring proper pricing, accurate recording of merchandise receipts, reporting of shipping discrepancies and monitoring and achieving shrink targets.
  • Ensure proper display of merchandise, execution of markdowns and promotions and suitable product combinations in compliance with Visual Standards
  • Maximizing the use of the sales floor through on-going replenishment of stock, ensuring daily replenishment procedures are met
  • Possess excellent product knowledge by demonstrating knowledge of products and current fashion trends
  • Hire, train and develop staff by sourcing and selecting the best qualified candidates for available positions.
  • Motivate, encourage, coach and challenge District Managers to achieve high levels of sales
  • Ensure all Associates are trained on Company Customer Service Standards
  • Loss Prevention procedures are in place
 
Designer/Product Developer
 
  • Design and develop new styles from concept to finished product in accordance with line calendar.
  • Conduct competitive reviews of current products versus the market to ensure company product line is competitive and saleable.  Make recommendations to modify or delete styles. 
  • Attend fabric shows/ trade shows/ overseas garment vendors/ retail stores/ sample shopping to remain abreast of trends.
  • Creation of the style master, technical packages that are sent to overseas vendors for price solicitation.  Plan out all details of each new style prior to purchase order.   
  • Apply knowledge of garment construction, systems and standards to product specifications/ fittings/ corrections.  
  • Utilize industry contacts to source fabrics/ accessories/ hangtags.
  • Liaise with QA to ensure garment and fabric quality standards are met for new and existing items.
